Know Your Why??

When you start writing, there’s a big element of catharsis in there. And it can be a very good thing.

The healing that comes from getting your stories down is incredible. Particularly the lumps, bumps and trauma that life can throw at all of us.

And what I’ve found is that once those memories are out on the page, particularly if you’ve picked up a pen, then somehow, they fade. They fade in importance, and influence.

But you have to be fearless. Here, I’d like to point you the first Workbook of The Remember Press writing course, that sets you up for a great and enjoyable writing journey.

If you wonder why I spent so much time creating those schedules, the prompts, and demanding that you decide and then discover your “Why?”

Then think on this: without a strong driver and knowledge of your destination (your Why?) then you won’t last the distance. And I’m here to make sure that you do.

Dean Graziosi puts out a system that he swears by, and he’s one very successful person who publishes his books often. He’s driven by his why, which when uncovered, becomes the match that lights your cannon to success.

The system to unveil the deep driver, the actual REASON that you wantto do this, is seven levels deep. Dean explains that you should ask whyyou are interested in this (or any important project) 7 times.

Go deep, deeper still until you will find the core of your motivation as the answer to the seventh question of Why? Each time, repeat the answer and ask ‘Why is that?’

Write your final answer down, make an art piece of it if you like, and post that up on your screen, your wall, your desk. Wherever you can see it when you falter, or simply just need a nudge.

Knowing your Why? Is the most powerful driver you can find.
